Jordan has been instrumental in advancing infrastructure projects across the city, particularly highlighting the success of the East Augusta Drainage Project. This $6 million initiative, in collaboration with the Augusta Commission and engineering department, provided significant flood relief to residents in areas like Wallace St and Brunswick Ave, marking the first such improvement in five decades. Additional urban upgrades include the installation of sidewalks, paving of roads, and the addition of crosswalks.
In the Sand Hills region, Jordan’s efforts led to the paving of several streets for the first time in 60 years, including Delano St and Weed St. His advocacy extends to downtown improvements through the TIA projects, aiming to enhance sidewalks, drainage, and road conditions, thereby facilitating better urban mobility and infrastructure resilience.
